I joined this group because I'm graduating in May 2009 with my undergrad in German and English, and trying to figure out what to do next. I'm bilingual, fluent in German and English, and I have German and American citizenship, so I think I would like to come to Germany to live and possibly study. I think that I have a real advantage having the 2 citizenships and the 2 languages, and would love to do something on an international scale, where I can travel and have lots of contact to different people and that kind of thing. So, I'm thinking about international business or management. But, I'm not really sure what those entail, and which one is better for me. I know that I will have to do some economics, accounting, and that kind of thing - which makes me really nervous, because my math skills are pretty much nonexistent. I took microeconomics, and got a C. I understand the concepts, but when you add math to the whole thing, I get completely lost. So, I think I could struggle through that...If there's more to international business/management than just math that I can do well in. ;)
So, basically, I'm wondering - what do these programs entail? What kind of things would I be studying? And what kind of careers are available to people who study international business and/or management? Are there any websites that have information about this? AND, in order to do international things career-wise, are things like business and management the only options?
